Join the beta

The Spread puts every major weather model's forecast side by side and shows where they disagree. The maps, the locations and the leaderboards are open to everyone. The rest is in a closed beta:

• A forecast for any place: each model's high, low and rain, day by day, the range between them, and which models are lining up with which.
• The Model Lab: how each model's forecast for a day has moved from run to run.
• Verification for that place: how each model has done, scored against the nearest thermometer where there is one.
• Watch a date: pick a day at a place and see what each new run did to it.
• Saved places, which follow you between devices once you sign in.

The beta is free. A paid tier will come later; the basic forecast will stay free, and nothing is charged during the beta.

Join the waitlist

We email you a link to confirm the address. Invites go out by hand, in small groups, and an email tells you when yours has.

The address is used for the waitlist and nothing else. If you don't confirm it, we send at most 3 confirmation emails and forget it 7 days after the last, and a month after you're let in, and every email carries a link that deletes it. More on the privacy page. Or write to hello@spreadwx.com.
